          <datacite:description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">In order to prepare a material of high adsorption for phosphoric acid, acrylic acid (AAc) and 4-vinyl pyridine (4-VP) as monomers and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a cross-linker were copolymerized by precipitation polymerization. According to observation by FE-SEM, the poly(acrylic acid-co-4-vinyl pyridine)(Poly(AAc-co-4-VP)) were polydispersed particles. The adsorption behavior of phosphoric acid for Poly(AAc-co-4-VP) was investigated from molybdenum blue methods. The amount of adsorption of phosphoric acid was constant without regard to the concentrations of phosphoric acid. It was found that the adsorption behavior of phosphoric acid for Poly(AAc-co-4-VP) depended on the amount of AAc and 4-VP on the particle surface.</datacite:description>
