          <datacite:description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">In this study, we focused on the oxides with the composition of Ca2Sn2-xTixAl2O9, in which Ti4+ ions are introduced into the host material Ca2Sn2Al2O9, to develop rare earth-free fluorescent materials. The samples were successfully synthesized by a complex polymerization method. The samples showed blue emission at 476 nm under excitation at 243 nm. The emission intensity reached a maximum at x = 0.02. The excitation and emission spectra were recorded from room temperature to 573 K. As the temperature rises, the emission wavelength becomes shorter, while the excitation wavelength becomes longer, indicating that our fluorescent materials are sensitive to temperature.</datacite:description>
