          <dc:description>When assuming a classical spin for the d spin at Mn site under a strong magnetic field, the model we proposed previously for the disorder in diluted magnetic semiconductors (DMS) like as AII1-x MnxCVI alloys reduces to the disorder in binary solid solutions. Applying the coherent potential approximation (CPA) to that disorder, we calculate the band edge energy as a function of Mn concentration x. The results are compared with the apparent enhancement in p-d exchange interaction which is observed in Cd1-xMnxS with small x.</dc:description>
