The model is an extension of s-f model that has been studied for the conduction states of Eu chalcogenides, and ineludes not only the exchange interaction between a conduction electron and localized f spins but also the nonmagnetic local potential due to the random substitution of Eu2+ ion by Gd3+ ion in regular EuO lattice sites. The present results agree with the temperature Tc experimentally observed by Sutarto et. al [Phys. Rev. B 80 (2009) 085308], but do not explain the temperature dependence of magnetization. Based on the density of states (DOS) calculated,w e also discussed the temperature dependence of the optical band edge ofGdxEu1_xO observed by Mastumoto et.al [J. Phys.: Condens.
