The discovered knowledge is intended to use as a basic principle to save energy in a home with HEMS. Each home has different situations of apparatuses and of preferences, thus it is necessary taking into account such differences in practical methods of energy saving. In order to achieve this goal, the obtained knowledge has enough readability and understandability for non-expert person. For this reason, we point out that traditional approaches mostly based on artificial neural networks are inadequate in HEMS environment.
