By the present theory axial velocity profile is affected by α. Existence of recirculation flow or tailing of axial velocity is explained by the difference of α. The calculated results are compared with velocity profiles of two opposed jets observed by Witze and Dwyer. Flow parameters for two opposed jets are determined. The results also applied to flow characteristics of outer region of wall jet.
