Due to easiness of observation this phenomenon is used to exemplification experiments in physics education. Authors measured time and falling velocity of a neodymium magnet in an aluminum pipe, and modeling of the motion and simple formulation by the approximation in the falling were examined. In an aluminum pipe, time for the falling of the magnet was longer than in an ordinary environment.
