| 内容記述 | In order to study the electronic states and magnetism of Eu-rich EuO, we have applied the dynamical coherent potential approximation (Dynamical CPA) to a simple model ofEu1_y VyO, The result for the density of states (DOS) well explains the origin and mechanism of the famous metal-insulator transition of Eu-rich EuO. However the result for the defect concentration (y) dependence of Curie temperature Tc does not agree with the experimental observation. We ascribed the reason of the discrepancy for the fault of the model; the correlation effect due to the double occupation of two electrons in a defect is neglected in the present model. | |||||||||
