In our new subject titled "'Stop the CO2' and Life Design (Life Design for 'Stop the CO2')", we want students to understand that environmental problems relate deeply with their own lives, and aim to give them an opportunity to think about their present lifestyle. A multi-pronged perspective is necessary to consider environmental problems. Therefore, we hope that students will acquire the broad interdisciplinary outlook to recognize the problems of a popular account and receive specialized knowledge. We, 8 teachers at the K-center, will give lectures in this subject from science and liberal arts courses. In this paper, the panel discussion is introduced by 6 teachers (out of 8) who did the frrst lecture of the subject on September 13, 2010. |
