| 内容記述 | This study reports preparedness of medication, including medical supplies, for natural disaster by local government and identifies issues of the current situation. This study reveals that the local government makes necessary medication available in emergencies by stocking it by themselves and/or by requesting it to local pharmacies under emergency support agreements. However, it is also revealed that the level of preparedness is different by size of the local government and expected earthquake damage. In order to protect lives of citizens, it is essential for local government to take effective measures to make medication available locally, to keep necessary amount that is estimated from number of citizens and expected damage, and to build a close relationship with specialists, such as doctors and pharmacists, who can help local government in emergencies. | |||||||||
