This is a social acceptance study of the Japanese National Identification Number System (My Number System). This study finds that perceived usefulness gives positive effects on people's attitude toward the system and perceived risk gives negative effects on it. In addition, perceived fairness and perceived convenience give positive effects on perceived usefulness and perceived privacy threat gives positive effects on perceived risk. These findings are useful for designing the system and smooth deployment of the system. |
